Introduction
Virtual machines like:
- VMware Player ®
- VMware Workstation ®
enables you to run a 'computer' inside your computer.
To make this work you need to build appliances which works within the vitual machine. This can be done by anyone who has basic knowledge plus documentation for each virtual machine and above all time and patience.
NO dual booting risking your production OS and NO hassle running a LiveCD.

What users say:
I just wanted to tell you that your VMware Virtual appliances are not
only very useful but are the best VMs that I have ever downloaded. Most
of them work perfectly without any changes. - Ollie Deex USA
Thanks for your f7.vmx! I'm new to Linux, and now I can play with it without any fear. I'm an embedded systems developer, and my first steps with f7.vmx have been to make cross-compiled kernel. - Ignacio G.T. Spain
Just to say thanks and say it works fine on VMWare fusion on a MacBookPro - Graham Marshall
Thank you, love Ubuntu, and try out the various variants when I can. I appreciate your groups effort. -Michael J. Lee

Very impressed with your vm implementation. It all works! - Simon Ambridge, uk.fujitsu.com
Great opensolaris vm... worked much better than my ubuntu build for smb filesystem shares. Incidentally, FYI, I ran it with 512MB of mem on an AMD K8 64 HP(ish) machine running XP and it seems to work really well. - Dave E Lloyd
I just wanted to say something nice about your virtual denoam system. I downloaded it and started it in my VMWare Workstation and it works just fine. I am blind and therefore this preinstalled and ready to run vmwares are the best
for me to test some things and get a ready to run system and does not need to ask anyone to help me in order to
install and configure it - this way I just need to start it and ask someone to help me to login on the console and
then install the braille driver package and I am ready to do the rest on my own.
Thanks very much for this great peace of work!

I was directed to you by a VMWare tech on your ProTech One appliance. He was answering my question about forensics within and on a virtual environment. It was most enlightening.

I have used your Gentoo 2008.0 appliance a couple of different times.

- They also work on Linux distros (Linux host/Linux guest).
- We only test on XPSP2-3 and Vista Ultimate.
- We allocate between 384-968MB RAM for the appliance.

- Each appliance needs between 2.0-6.0GB of space on your HD
- All our appliances have the latest WMware Tools installed
- Ethernet connection is set to NAT unless specified otherwise.
- Screen resolution varies but is mostly Dynamic (default=1152x864). Drag the vm-frame to resize.
- Some settings can be edited in a normal text editor by opening the *.vmx file
- NOTE!! Appliance spec., passwords etc. are included in the compressed download as a README.txt.

General
All appliances have been compiled with VMwareTools installed allowing for movement of the mouse freely between host/guest, dynamic screen-resolution, cut/paste and drag/drop between host/guest is tested and works unless otherwise specified. ALL our appliances (bagvapps) are slightly customized with our own wallpapers and desktop set-ups mainly to suit our own taste and for branding.
We test each and every appliance on 2 different computers and 3 host platforms (FSC Scaleo H -Intel D, 3GB RAM with XPSP2-3 and Acer Ferrari Laptop (AMD 64) 1.25GB with Vista Ultimate).
The bagvapps works on VMware Player 2 series and Workstation 5-6 series. We do NOT test on VMware Server or VMware Fusion and if you are not an advanced user you may have problems getting them to work on those platforms.

I have left a substantial amount of applications to be installed by the users themselves so this is a good VM to use for those who really wants to get their hands 'dirty' building their own Gentoo. It is stable and XFCE makes it fast and responsive. ...DOWNLOAD
